With nearly 20 years of experience in the New York commercial real estate market, Cory Rosenthal is an established leader in the industry with a proven track record of enhancing operations, developing business strategy, and managing sales teams. Cory stands as the Matthews™ New York National Director of Multifamily & Market Leader. In New York, Cory oversees the businesses’ day-to-day operations and manages the strategic development of the platform. He provides leadership, training, and guidance to both new and seasoned agents to help them succeed in their roles. Additionally, as National Director of Multifamily, Cory’s responsibilities include oversight, deployment, and expansion of the division.
Cory has been directly involved in transactions, spanning all commercial real estate asset classes, totaling an aggregate consideration of approximately $700 million. Cory is a dynamic and visionary New York real estate industry leader with a strong commitment to mentorship and team building.
Prior to Matthews™, Cory stood as the Chief Revenue Officer at B6 Real Estate Advisors. He was responsible for managing the firm’s sales team and its revenue pipeline. He played a key role in recruiting and contributing to B6’s technology-enabled platform to enhance the company’s growth. He also served as the Chief Operating Officer of New York City Capital Markets at JLL from 2018 to 2022. During his tenure at JLL, he had operational oversight of the platform consisting of 100+ producers, analysts, and staff. Cory also served as a Senior Managing Director in the Capital Markets Group at Cushman & Wakefield. In his role, he worked to identify and improve agent and business processes throughout the organization to increase profitability for the firm. Cory began his career at Massey Knakal Realty Services in 2003 and was promoted in 2010 to Vice President of Executive Operations. In this role, Cory undertook operational responsibilities related to the CEO’s office as well as maintaining departmental oversight of the firm’s various divisions and salesforce. He received another promotion in 2013 to Senior Vice President of Brokerage & Corporate Operations where he oversaw sales team management and maintained operational responsibilities related to the growth of the organization – including leading the firm’s training program.
