Atlanta, GA – Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, completed the sale of an apartment building, located at 1900 Stanton Delowe Road in Atlanta, GA for $13.63M. The sale was brokered by Senior Associate Austin Graham and Executive Vice President and Managing Director David Harrington.
Matthews™ represented the seller, Sarmaya Capital, a Canadian-based multifamily investment firm. The client recently finished renovation and investment plans for the property and decided to take advantage of the strong market. Sarmaya Capital renovated a total of 84 units in the 164-unit building and invested significant capital throughout the surrounding community.
“Our client did an amazing job upgrading this multifamily property and we are happy to help them close this project and move toward other future investments,” Graham said. “We were able to source the right buyer who will continue to renovate and bring back capital improvements.”
The buyer, Frankforter Group, was sourced through a Matthews™ internal marketing campaign and was interested in buying to grow their Atlanta investment portfolio and investment in a value-add opportunity.
