Developed by Floyd Mayweather, Mayweather Boxing + Fitness is a boutique fitness brand that focuses on a high-intensity fitness experience formulated with the combination of boxing, strength training, and cardio conditioning intervals. Matthews™ was presented with the opportunity to represent and guide the tenant through finding a location in West Los Angeles.



As a brand that focused on fitness, Mayweather Boxing + Fitness needed a space that had a complementing tenant mix focused on maximizing consumer potential. The client also wanted to find a location in the heart of the action that Los Angeles provides. By utilizing Matthews™’ connections, Mayweather Boxing + Fitness was able to secure a place in Culver City’s newest destination, Ivy Station.



Ivy Station is a highly anticipated upcoming Culver City development located at the intersections of Venice, Washington, and National Boulevards adjacent to the Metro Expo Line. This area is anticipated to become an energetic center of life for residents and visitors alike. This mixed-use development will also deliver 200+ brand new, high-rise, luxury residential units, 50,000 square feet of retail, a top-of-the-line 150 room boutique hotel, and a one-acre public outdoor park in the center of the project. Lastly, it will host the new 240,000 square foot headquarters of HBO. As the newest “it location,” this will be the boutique fitness’s first location in West Los Angeles, and this operator is looking to add more units throughout West Los Angeles.
