Highest Price Per Unit in History for Tifton
Tifton, GA — Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, represented the seller in the disposition of The Apex, a multifamily property located at 1644 Carpenter Road S., Tifton, GA. The apartment complex sold for the highest price per unit in Tifton’s history. Matthews Vice President and Associate Director Connor Kerns handled the transaction.
The Apex, built in 2023 and featuring 144 units, was sold by a New York-based investment company. The company owns and manages several apartment communities in Georgia and almost 10,000 units across the East Coast.
Matthews™ sourced the buyer, a local family office based in South Georgia. They plan to hold the asset for long-term ownership, providing a high-quality passive investment opportunity for the family office for years to come.
“The buyer was looking to purchase a newer construction apartment product in a familiar market. Apex apartments fit these criteria as it was recently built, and the family office owns additional assets in the Tifton area,” Kerns said.
