Tyler Swade Joins Matthews

 

LOS ANGELES — Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, announced the addition of Tyler Swade as Vice President and Director within the firm’s healthcare division in Encino, CA. In his role, Swade will provide specialized healthcare real estate advisory and brokerage services, leveraging his extensive background as the former VP of Acquisitions for American Healthcare REIT, a top institutional healthcare acquirer.

 

Tyler started his career on the underwriting and asset management team at PNC Real Estate in 2012, and in 2014, he joined American Healthcare REIT (AHR), previously American Healthcare Investors, as a manager in their acquisitions department, where he was subsequently promoted to director and eventually vice president in 2021. At AHR, his responsibilities included facilitating every part of the deal life cycle, including the underwriting, contract negotiation, due diligence, and closing processes.

 

During his tenure at AHR, Tyler was involved in approximately $1 billion in transactions spanning the healthcare real estate spectrum with an emphasis on medical outpatient buildings.  In late 2021, Tyler was also selected to serve on Revista’s Rising Leaders Council as part of its inaugural class, where he focused on developing client relations with current and prospective users of the Revista healthcare real estate database.
