Lacey, WAMatthews Real Estate Investment Services, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, completed the sale of a DaVita healthcare property, located at 5180 Yelm Highway, Lacey, WA. The transaction closed at 99 percent of the list price and was handled by Associate Melanie Selleck and Director of Western U.S. Retail Devon Dykstra.

 

Matthews™ represented the seller who was aiming to dispose of the property and reallocate capital into a Texas development project. The seller received a great price and a seamless closing process.

 

“Using our proprietary database and office connections we sourced a qualified buyer and were able to close at a record cap rate for the state of Washington and achieve one of the lowest cap rates for a DaVita facility,” Selleck said.

 

The buyer acquired the property to diversify their portfolio and complete a 1031 Exchange. The buyer was represented by Lee & Associates.

 

“Our relationships and market knowledge were key to our success in this deal,” Dykstra said. “We knew the increased value of healthcare real estate in the market which allowed us to price accurately and close at 99 percent of the list price.”
