Fort Lauderdale, FL – Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, hired established capital markets professional Ariel Zucker as First Vice President in the brokerage’s Fort Lauderdale office. Zucker is joining the Matthews™ Capital Markets (MCM) Division, where he will focus on structuring debt and equity solutions for clients across the U.S.

 

Zucker began his career at Walker & Dunlop in 2012 as a financial analyst before switching to origination in 2018. From there, he quickly established himself as a leader in the capital markets field, specifically within the multifamily and student housing space, where he assisted clients in obtaining over $500 million in financing with various capital sources, which include Life Company, CMBS, Debt Fund, Bank and Agency loans. Though Zucker specializes in the market-rate apartment and student housing sectors, he has secured capital for various property types, including retail, credit tenant lease, and industrial, among others.

 

“My ultimate goal is to navigate my clients through the ever-changing lending market and be a resource at every point of the transaction,” Zucker said. “I believe Matthews’ support team and resources will enhance my ability to do that as my business grows.”
