Daniel Siesser

Daniel Siesser serves as First Vice President for Matthews™ Capital Markets, based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. With more than 20 years of commercial real estate finance experience, Daniel specializes in structuring debt and equity solutions for acquisitions, development, refinancing, recapitalizations, and portfolio financing. Throughout his career, he has advised on and executed more than $1.5 billion in commercial real estate transactions across the country, spanning a diverse range of asset classes, including multifamily, industrial, office, retail, hospitality, self-storage, and senior housing.

Daniel brings extensive expertise in capital structuring, credit underwriting, lender negotiations, and transaction execution. He maintains relationships with more than 800 institutional and private capital providers, including life insurance companies, agency lenders, commercial banks, credit unions, debt funds, private equity firms, family offices, and institutional investors. Leveraging these relationships and his deep understanding of the capital markets, Daniel develops tailored financing strategies that align with his clients’ investment objectives and long-term business goals.

Prior to joining Matthews™, Daniel served as senior vice president at Northmarq, where he originated and closed more than $600 million in debt and equity financing transactions. His previous experience includes leadership and commercial real estate finance roles at Northmarq, JPMorgan Chase, KeyBank, and Deutsche Bank.
