Matthews™ Closes $6.7M Sale of Walmart-Anchored Shopping Center featured image

Sold at 100% of Final List Price

Nashville, TN— Matthews Real Estate Investment Services, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, recently completed the sale of retail facility, Indian Lake Market Shoppes, above final list price, closing at $6.7M in a 1031 Exchange. The property is located at 206 North Anderson Lane, Hendersonville, TN. Senior Associate Tripp Brown, Senior Associate Hutt Cooke, Vice President Clay Smith, and Market Leader and Vice President Johnny Blue Craig represented the seller in the transaction.

 

The 26,026 square-foot shopping center consists of four lots, shadow-anchored by a Walmart Supercenter. Matthews™ had an existing relationship with the seller, which allowed the agents to source the buyer prior to bringing the deal to market in a quick close. The buyer used the property as an up-leg to plant capital in the Nashville MSA.

 

“Closing this deal at a formidable price point in a sought-after Nashville suburb was a testament to the booming retail sector in the fast-growing and high-development Hendersonville area,” said Brown.

 

The shopping center is in the prominent Indian Lake Village area, which consists of numerous quick-service restaurant facilities, hotels, and stores. The high-traffic neighborhood offers accessibility and increased visibility to the center, which is still in its infancy, built in 2007.
