Gross, the youngest executive in Matthews™ history to earn the title of Senior Managing Director, reflected on his career, leadership philosophy, and vision for the future of the industry.

 

Gross highlighted the role mentorship and culture have played in Matthews’™ success, emphasizing that investing in people creates long-term value for clients and the firm alike. Since joining Matthews™ in 2015, he has helped transform the Dallas office into the company’s top-performing location, growing the team from 19 to 89 agents while increasing revenue by 300 percent.

 

Discussing leadership, Gross emphasized the importance of empowering brokers to reach their full potential by fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous development. He also shared his perspective on artificial intelligence, noting that while technology will continue to streamline workflows and improve efficiencies, strong relationships, strategic thinking, and trusted advisory services will remain at the core of commercial real estate.

 

Gross also spoke about Matthews’™ continued momentum in Texas, pointing to the firm’s expansion, investment in talent, and commitment to building a collaborative culture that positions agents and clients for long-term success.
