Director of Retail, Western U.S. Devon Dykstra and Associate Courtney Haubach have been nominated for Orange County Business Journal’s 2022 Women in Business Awards. This award recognizes professional women who have made significant contributions to their organizations, professions, and the Orange County community. Beyond being high-producing agents and leaders within the company, Devon and Courtney are actively involved in their community, giving back to local non-profits.

 

Devon Dykstra is the Retail Director for Matthews™ Shopping Center Business in the Western US. Devon’s experience and exposure to the capital markets provide her deep perspective and understanding of institutional discipline and process. Devon leads in the disposition and acquisition of retail transactions. She leverages her years of relationships in the private and institutional real estate markets to maximize value for her clients.

 

During her career, Devon has closed 37 capital market transactions in excess of $1 billion for private and institutional owners. Prior to joining Matthews™, Devon worked at Jones Lang LaSalle as a Capital Markets Associate focusing on debt and equity. She led the financial modeling, due diligence, and closing for transactions, as well as executed business decisions and capital structures for borrowers and lenders. In 2018 and 2019, she closed 30 complex debt and equity transactions. Previously at Matthews™, she closed seven retail transactions in five states.

 

Courtney Haubach serves as an Associate for Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™, focusing on the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of single tenant net lease properties. Courtney specializes in advising clients on investments, working with drugstores nationally with a primary focus on tenants such as CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aid. She provides an exceptional level of knowledge and service to her clients due to her work ethic, professionalism, and ability to create and nurture long-lasting relationships.

 

Prior to joining Matthews™, Courtney worked at a non-profit organization where she focused on business development by assisting in building out the Salesforce CRM platform & fundraising efforts for the company, as well as coordinating 300+ volunteers weekly.
