Zaxby’s Portfolio Sale in Florida

 

Bradenton, FL Matthews Real Estate Investment Services, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, represented the seller in the disposition of a two-property Zaxby’s portfolio in Bradenton, FL. Matthews™ Senior Associate Jake Lurie and Associate Market Leader Owen Fincher handled the transaction.

 

Both Zaxby’s properties were delivered within the last six years, boasting modern construction features and facilities. With over 950 storefronts nationwide, Zaxby’s has continued to expand its footprint and consumer popularity. In total, the buildings boast 6,804 square feet and are equipped with drive-thrus.

 

“After running a thorough and targeted marketing campaign we were able to secure multiple offers, ultimately closing for a competitive market price and with the first buyer that went under contract,” Fincher said.

 

A multi-unit operator with a presence in Florida purchased the portfolio. The buyer plans to operate the stores and acquire additional units.

 

“In a difficult M&A environment, we were able to complete the transaction and work with the buyer and seller to satisfy both of their motivations,” Lurie said.
