Matthews™ Completes $14.54M Sale of Arm & Hammer Facility featured image

Cleveland, OH – Matthews Real Estate Investment Services, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, brokered the sale of a 488,000 square foot single tenant industrial property, located at 110 East Jones Road, Fostoria, OH. The property is currently occupied by the global consumer brand, Arm & Hammer. The transaction closed above the final list price at $14,536,000 and was brokered by First Vice President and Senior Director Alexander Harrold.

 

Matthews™ represented the institutional seller who was interested in taking advantage of the high price points in the current market. Harrold sourced 19 offers using Matthews’ proprietary marketing suite and closed the deal above the final list price.

 

“Arm & Hammer is a strong credit tenant that has operated in the Fostoria market for over 40 years,” Harrold said. “This created a long-term and stable investment opportunity for buyers which in turn created a competitive bidding environment for my client. We had a diverse group of buyers interested in this investment from private family office to institutional REITs, proving Midwest industrial to be in demand with no signs of slowing down.”
