Strategic Lease Deal with KinderCare in Bowling Green, Kentucky

 

Bowling Green, KYMatthews Real Estate Investment Services™, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, completed the business sale of Smart Start Childcare and represented the landlords in the leasing of four properties involved in the business transaction. Matthews™ FVP & Director Clay Smith and Associate Matthew Gibbs represented the landlords in this notable deal.

 

The transaction included the sale of a four-unit portfolio of childcare centers, Smart Start Childcare Center of Bowling Green, to KinderCare Learning Centers, the largest daycare operator in the country. After the acquisition, Matthews™ represented three landlords in the lease negotiation with KinderCare, who ultimately signed 10-year, absolute NNN leases for the four properties.

 

The four properties present a strong investment opportunity in the growing childcare sector, with long-term leases ensuring the portfolio’s stability and future potential. The facilities leased in the transaction include 1730 Destiny Lane, 132 Brenner Street, 3510 Nashville Road, and 646 Lovers Lane.

 

“This deal is a significant achievement, not only because of the successful sale but also due to the strong credit tenant secured for the leases,” Gibbs said. “With KinderCare taking over operations, all three landlords are now positioned with stable tenants in a fast-growing market.”
