Firm Welcomes Gene Mello as VP of Leasing

 

San Diego, CA – Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, announced the addition of seasoned broker Gene Mello as Vice President of Leasing, based out of the firm’s San Diego office. In his role, Mello will assist in the growth and enhancement of the Matthews™ Leasing Division in Southern California.

 

Bringing 16 years of retail leasing experience, Gene has worked with some of the nation’s most prominent tenants and landlords, including Burger King, Ross Dress for Less, Aldi Food Market, Best Buy, and Petco, among many others. Beginning his brokerage career at Phillips Edison & Company, Gene was most recently a broker for Enduring Real Estate, formerly Epsteen & Associates San Diego. Beyond building his real estate expertise, Mello is an active member of the San Diego Business Chamber, the Sales Leadership Alliance, and the Next Gen ICSC Committee.
