Michael Inforzato

Michael Inforzato serves as First Vice President of the Seniors Housing division at Matthews™, specializing in the acquisition and disposition of skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, memory care, and continuing care retirement communities across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

With more than a decade of direct healthcare operations experience, Michael brings a unique operator-driven perspective to every transaction. Prior to entering commercial real estate brokerage, he worked in physical therapy and spent 12 years as a regional director of rehabilitation, overseeing multi-facility portfolios, improving Case Mix Index performance, and supporting the development and implementation of memory care programs. His operational background allows him to evaluate seniors housing assets beyond traditional real estate fundamentals, with a deep understanding of cost reports, survey histories, reimbursement structures, facility performance, and the day-to-day realities of ownership and operations.

Michael has advised owners and operators on a range of seniors housing transactions throughout the Northeast, including assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, and senior living campuses across New England and New York. His experience also includes bringing a New England skilled nursing portfolio valued at more than $200 million through the transaction process. In addition to acquisition and disposition advisory, Michael regularly works with owners and operators on broader strategic initiatives and is currently serving as Construction Manager for a ground-up life plan community in New York’s Hudson Valley.

Michael holds a Master of Science in Statistical and Financial Analyses and is bilingual in English and Spanish. Through a combination of operational expertise, financial analysis, and market knowledge, he provides clients with a comprehensive advisory approach designed to help them evaluate opportunities, navigate complex transactions, and maximize the value of their seniors housing assets.
