National Brokerage Firm Transitions Current EVP to Oversee Company Operations

 

Los Angeles — Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, recently announced the promotion of David J. Harrington to president to support company growth and accelerate implementation of critical operations. Previously positioned as the company’s executive vice president and managing director, Harrington has over 20 years of commercial real estate brokerage and leadership experience. As president, Harrington will guide, direct, and evaluate strategic initiatives.

Harrington began his career at Marcus & Millichap, specializing in debt origination before, moving into multifamily investment sales. In 2010, he went on to Hendricks & Partners, a national multifamily brokerage that later merged with Berkadia. Joining Matthews™ in 2016, Harrington led the growth of the multifamily division from Southern California to a strong presence in markets across the country.

 

Harrington is a long-standing member of the company’s executive board and has successfully overseen dozens of company achievements including, office openings, senior and executive level hires, industry acquisitions, and more.
