Matthews™ Completes Leasing Agreement at San Diego’s Westfield UTC

San Diego, CA – Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, represented the tenant in the lease of approximately 2,029 square feet to national ramen restaurant chain, Silverlake Ramen. The transaction was brokered by Senior Associate Aditya Ramnath and Senior Vice President and National Director Michael Pakravan.

 

Known as San Diego’s top lifestyle center and shopping destination, Westfield UTC, located at 4545 La Jolla Village Drive, is a prime location with over 200 retail, entertainment, and restaurant facilities. Working closely with the landlord, Matthews™ secured a highly coveted second-generation restaurant space for their client in an extremely competitive environment, with preferred lease terms.

 

“Westfield UTC is a perfect space for Silverlake Ramen to continue their brand growth and expand their market reach in San Diego,” Ramnath said. “We competed with several other brands who wanted the space but were ultimately able to close the deal for our client. The Westfield UTC location will be the second Silverlake Ramen restaurant in the San Diego marketplace. The brand has over 20 locations nationwide with continued plans to expand throughout major lifestyle centers and high-street retail areas. This lease is the sixteenth location Matthews™ has secured for the tenant.
