LOS ANGELES, CA— Matthews™ First Vice President in Capital Markets, Geoffrey Arrobio, has been recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as a recipient of its Leaders of Influence: Banking & Financing 2026 award.

Arrobio was recognized for more than three decades of experience in commercial real estate finance and his significant impact on the industry through capital advisory, lender relationships, and transaction execution. Since joining Matthews™ Capital Markets in 2023, he has helped expand the firm’s West Coast capital markets platform while broadening lender relationships nationwide. Throughout his career, Arrobio has personally advised and secured more than $2.1 billion in commercial real estate financing across a broad range of asset classes and capital structures.

 

With more than 30 years in commercial real estate finance, Arrobio has built a reputation for delivering strategic financing solutions across multifamily, industrial, retail, office, hospitality, medical office, self-storage, affordable housing, and other property types. His background spans institutional mortgage banking, commercial underwriting, and private banking, providing clients with a comprehensive perspective on capital markets and debt execution.
