Austin McLeod serves as Senior Vice President & Director of the Matthews™ Self-Storage Division. Having closed over $800 million worth of storage facilities in 24 different states, Austin has represented a broad range of sellers, including developers, private equity groups, family offices, and publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). Austin’s depth of transaction experience and first-hand knowledge of the operational side of self-storage also gives him a unique perspective of the asset class, which he uses to his client’s advantage when valuing assets and recommending different ways to improve their business. Austin also founded the Self-Storage Division at Matthews™ in 2018, closing the first self-storage transaction in company history.
