Austin McLeod serves as Senior Vice President & Director of the Matthews™ Self-Storage Division. Having closed over $800 million in self-storage transactions across 24 states, Austin has represented a broad range of sellers, including developers, private equity groups, family offices, and publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). Austin’s depth of transaction experience and firsthand knowledge of the operational side of self-storage give him a unique perspective on the asset class, which he leverages to his clients’ advantage when valuing assets and identifying opportunities to enhance operational performance. Since 2018, Austin has played a pivotal role in the growth and expansion of the Matthews™ Self-Storage Division, beginning with the first self-storage transaction in company history.
